The values in Photoshop that give me very good results:
Filter > Sharpen > Unsharp Mask then:
or
Only in Photoshop and not in Photoshop Elements:
That’s it, for me it’s a recipe that works well.
Filter > Sharpen > Unsharp Mask then:
- 1. For model photos: Amount 150%, Radius 1, Threshold 10.
- 2. For urban or travel photos: Amount 65%, Radius 3, Threshold 2.
- 3. For everyday photos: Amount 85%, Radius 1, Threshold 4.
or
Only in Photoshop and not in Photoshop Elements:
- 1. Images > Mode > Lab Color
- 2. In the Channels panel, click on the L channel (Lightness)
- 3. Apply the Unsharp Mask filter using the values mentioned above.
- 4. Try applying it a second time without changing the settings. If it's too sharp, go to Edit > Fade Unsharp Mask (for example, if Opacity is at 50% = you reduce the values of the second application by half).
That’s it, for me it’s a recipe that works well.
And of course, after step 4, don't forget to go back to RGB color in step 5.
If you knew what method to use for this Photoshop, thank you for letting me know :D
