Merge 2 videos side by side into 1

Hello,

I have Windows Movie Maker 2.6, and I was told that you can combine videos into a single video with Movie Maker? Magix Video can do that for sure, and there are others, but I didn't know Movie Maker could do it. If that's the case, could you explain to me how to do it with Movie Maker? Mine is in French ^^! Cannot take a Frame Image Handle
FOURCC code of your video is DX50

What should I do?

I did as mentioned by jpmaildoom9 and in the end I find myself with two files instead of one containing both videos!!!

What did I forget????

With Stereo Movie Maker it's super easy, but you have to be careful with the conversion, otherwise you end up with two files instead of one?,,,,

Use the great software "VIRTUALDUB", a little tutorial is over here:

For those who have video codec issues (notably H264 FFOURC, when trying a Side-by-side with 2 AVI files), download this file (which I found by following the information from the FFOURC site when I had the problem with Stereo Movie Maker)

It's an executable, I don't know much about it but as far as I understand, it's an encoder and decoder (I’m not too sure what that means) but well, when installing the executable, I checked all the boxes during the first prompt (before installation):



And after the installation, it asks which file formats it should be able to decode; I checked almost everything. So check those that seem necessary to you.

Finally, after closing and restarting Stereo Movie Maker, everything was fine for all types of formats.
