GP 368M UPDATE

I had the same product from Bruneau
connect the GPS to the PC
the mapping is incomplete, you need to recover it from the DVD provided
after that it works more or less well

I just bought a Naviroute GP368 ...... online
the problem is when I enter an address, it tells me it is incorrect.
Once I programmed it from one point to another .... and it showed me a wrong
route ...?!!!
Is there anyone who can tell me exactly what I should do???

The man who sold it to me told me that I need to install a driver for the update .........
Honestly, I’m afraid of doing something wrong ............... and thus damaging
the device

On mine, the street search returns nothing: it always shows
"no results" for streets that are displayed correctly
on the maps of the different cities I'm looking for... so to
ask for directions, I have to go through the geographical location
on the maps... Not very practical given the screen size. Does anyone have
any idea?

Could a kind soul make the ISO of it available (through emule for example or another way), it could benefit others ;-)

I have this type of GPS that works wonderfully. I think that to start with, you need to perform a reset. Then go to navigation + (go to) + address + name + city + street & number and hit GO.... Be careful, like all GPS devices, it doesn't find all addresses.

For your information, there are currently no updates for this device, so there’s no driver to install (this GPS is recognized as an external hard drive). I am using XP & 7.

In case of problems, this GPS comes with a backup CD, you just need to follow the procedure for factory reset.

In fact, I solved all my bugs by downloading and installing the updates on the website mentioned above:

(the only problem was that the device had switched to German, so I had to
find the French setting back)

Moral: Babou, don't waste your time looking for the CD, the files on it
are bugged and outdated; it's better to update the device through the web.

As a result, it's a pretty good GPS compared to other brands...

I also received the same as a gift, but there was no software included to install on the computer, making it impossible to do the updates. Did you get the software with it, and if not, is it a gift from Bruneau stores?

Well, I also received this gift from Bruneau, and the manual is written so small that it's hard to read.

I also received this gift from Bruneau! I just sent them an email (prepare your invoice and fill in the contact section at the bottom of the page); I'm in the same situation as you: the instructions are written in very small print but there is no installation driver....

I myself experienced the same fate, no possible GPS updates; it's scandalous. They are crooks at Bruneau, their gift GPS is worthless.
