My indoor antenna isn't picking up.

Hello, I just bought a Thomson ANT85 amplified indoor antenna to connect to an LG LCD TV 3000 with built-in TNT, but the antenna isn't picking up any channels, and when I plug the TV into a wall socket in the living room, it works fine. What should I do?

      The best thing is to buy all the antennas and try them out, but it's not possible to run an antenna cable.
