Hello,

I installed the "Wrath of the Lich King" extension without any problem. But when I want to launch WoW, a message appears: the launcher must have write permission in the World of Warcraft directory to locate and run the game. Please grant write access to this directory with an administrator account.
I tried the repair program but it doesn't work.
After running the repair program, another message appears: launcher.exe is not a valid Win32 application. And on top of all that, I can't uninstall it.

yop, I had the same problem, I went into the wow folder, made a new folder and put wow, burning crusade and the launcher in it. And strangely, it's working... ++

I deleted all the wow files and reinstalled it. Since then, I have no more problems.

    Hello,

Okay, let's start from the beginning.

You're booting WoW from a shortcut on your desktop, but you've tested with the one in the WoW folder.

So, what OS is your PC running? Windows 7? XP?

Salut, essaie de faire un clic droit et de choisir "Exécuter en tant qu'administrateur" sur le lanceur.

It's not working, I'm still getting the same message that the application is not valid.

I can play, but now I have another problem. I need to update, but it's not working, and I still don't know how to uninstall the game.

It automatically restarts every time I want to launch the game. But I uninstalled everything and reinstalled correctly, and for now it works. Thanks anyway for your help :)

I'm arriving, I put Wrath of the Lich King in my drive and when I try to launch WoW, the message keeps telling me that it can't open launcher.exe. After that, I check in my documents and the file is there. Then I tried several times to repair it, but at 13 out of 13 the bar stops moving.
So I would like to know how to make WoW open the Launcher.exe.

Have you at least tried running WoW as an administrator by right-clicking on the launcher icon?^^

Hello, I've been having a problem with the launcher for 2 weeks. I've done almost everything, reinstalled it but nothing works. It started since I got versions 2 and 3 of WoW. It tells me that the launcher needs write permissions, but I give them to it. Can you help me, please?
