Hello,
I would like to know if it would be possible with Word to hide and reveal the same parts of the text by clicking on the title of that text section?
Uhm I'm not sure if I'm making myself clear, but in my situation, I'm writing a form divided into several parts that need to be filled out with information about our clients. Since there are many tables to fill out in the different sections, the Word document is relatively long. For this reason, my supervisor asked me to "hide" the different parts by clicking on the titles, and to make them reappear in the same way, so that it is easier to visualize. I have already used bookmarks to navigate faster through the document, but she is not satisfied because, in this way, the document still has 15 pages, and what she wants is to reduce it to 2 pages with only the titles of the sections that we could open as we wish. I thought I could use "outline view," but that's only for reorganizing the document.
If someone can help me, that would be great because I've been searching for a tutorial on Word for two days to do this, but I'm starting to believe that it's not possible with Word! :(
Thank you in advance!

Hello.
In the past, I used to do similar things with master documents and sub-documents, but I can't find that in Word 2007 ...
"what she wants is to reduce it to 2 pages with only the section titles that we could open as we wish. I thought I could use the "outline view", but that's only for reorganizing the document": Yes, that's a good idea, and when you double-click on a title button, its content appears; double-click again to hide it.
The only problem is that you don't have your formatting or layout!

in PowerPoint, text and objects can be hidden/shown through animations.
With Word 2013, it is also possible and very simple to temporarily hide content to reduce the length of the text by assigning a level to the titles of the different sections, for example.
In previous versions, you can use hidden characters and toggle the display of formatting characters on or off.
In short, it all depends on the objective to be achieved.
