Ps3 connection to old TV

Hello,
I have a PS3 Slim 120GB and an old TOSHIBA CRT TV. I connect my PS3 using the audio and video outputs, etc. I switch to AV, but I don't see the PS3 menu. On another full HD flat screen TV, everything worked perfectly. I don't understand why this doesn't work on an old TV. Thank you for your help and responses.

Hi,
Have you ever played on an HD TV before? Your PS3 is therefore set up in HDMI.
Turn it on and hold down the power button until you hear the beep twice. (15-20 seconds)
And there you will reset its settings! :)
