Hello,
I have a tasting Smartbox that was valid until October 31, 2010
and I couldn't use it for health reasons.
I know that it is possible to extend the validity date or to replace it.
Could you provide me with information?

    Hello Annie,

    Yes, you have the option to exchange your gift box for a Smartbox credit.
    You can do this up to 6 months after the expiration date of your box.
    Be careful, the credit is valid for 3 months from the exchange.
    You need to go to their website on MySmartbox.
    However, you will have to pay an exchange fee, which will be deducted from your credit: it's €10 for a box worth less than €50 and €20 for a box worth more than €50.

      I'm sorry Justine, but your story doesn't work, I have 4 Smart Box vouchers that expired on December 17, it's impossible to get someone who speaks proper French on the phone and by email, automatic replies telling me that it was impossible to redeem them!!!!!! It's over, I won't accept this kind of gift anymore.....

      Hello everyone, I had a credit note that was valid for 3 months and I exceeded it by 5 days. I called them and was told that the credit note was lost. Is there anything that can be done? I still paid 50 euros for nothing in return. Is it possible to file a complaint with the civil court? Thank you for your information.

      Hello everyone, I too let a gift box and other stuff bought on LivingSocial expire. But after a year, there wasn't much I could do... really disappointed to have lost so much money...
      However, while searching online, I discovered a site that offers a reminder system so you don't forget to use them before the expiration date www.findevalidite.com
      It even works for movie tickets, I think it's great!!

      I am here to testify and make sure that companies like this can no longer cause harm.

      These gift boxes are a nightmare!

      I had a European city travel box, with errors on the dates, the price of the box higher than the value on site, a procedure worthy of a madhouse to validate and use your box! I ended up paying 21 euros out of my own pocket and that's not all!

      I received smart experience vouchers that I couldn't use anywhere, not even at Smartbox who didn't know what to do! I finally managed to exchange them for a box, which almost cost me 15 euros for a total of vouchers worth 80 € (pure scandal!) Finally, I was able to exchange it for a gourmet box which hasn't been possible to activate since, so I'm going to have to call and call again!!

      Absolutely to be avoided!

      I strongly advise against Smartbox; even a commercial gesture was refused to me because my box expired over 6 months ago, even though I paid for it and did not use it.

      I bought a gift voucher for 200 euros. Following a death (...) I was a thousand miles away from worrying about this purchase and not really in the mood for some self-indulgence. Anyway, the 6 months have passed and I've learned that I can no longer use or exchange it? What should I do? Calling and emailing doesn't help... Thank you.
