Convert MIDI file to MP3

Hello,
I have a "MIDI Sequence" file that I want to burn onto a CD to play on a HIFI system or a car radio.
Can anyone give me a tip?
It's the theme music for the Téléthon: if anyone has it in Mp3, that would be even easier!

    Cyril, another solution:

    winamp

    preferences > output > chun-yu's MP3 writer plug-in (winamp site)
    or preferences > output > disk writer plug-in for .wav

    don't forget to go back to:
    preferences > output > waveOut

      In fact, the solution with the Winamp plugin mentioned above works very well and is very convenient due to the Winamp playlist.

      If that doesn’t work for you, you may need to configure the input plugin (default in Winamp) (in section in) regarding MIDI, so that the MIDI goes through Winamp, allowing the sound to be redirected to the output writing plugin and properly written to disk.

    Hi Cyril, some sound cards allow you to record internally (without using speakers or a microphone) by selecting the recording source. Check the settings of your sound utility (if you have one) to see if this is an option for yours; the sound quality will be much better.

    me, just a simple guy, Acid Pro 4.0!!! nothing easier, I put my MIDI track, do what I have to do with it, then I render the track in mp3... wav... however I want...
    there you go, it’s an extra tip...

    The program proposed for dragonflies sends the sound to the speakers, then recorded by the PC's microphone... so SILENCE when you do it... ;)

    The ONLY way I found to convert a MIDI file to MP3 is as follows:

    1. Connect a synthesizer to a computer via MIDI-USB cables.
    2. Connect the Phones output of the synth to the Line input of a PC
    3. Use the "Recording via Analogue Input" function of the excellent CDex program
    4. Record the music "live"

    All the programs I found that offer MIDI to MP3 conversion are either scams or software that simply uses the PC's microphone, so make sure to record without a fly buzzing around...

      pam PC, you're in a forum, don't say just anything!

      Most sound cards (including integrated ones) offer to record "what you hear."

      You can also record what you send through the line input (with software like Freecorder for example). You just need to connect the line input to the audio output with a jack...
      It works very well for me...

    It's been ages since I've used wingrov; it's as easy as pie; it does a great job of converting to wav. Why always look for difficulties? You just need to convert it to mp3 afterward. I just tested Media-convert.com; it also does a good job of converting, but it's a bit slow.

    I used to do it regularly before with the software wingrov.
    Search for this name on Google. Just tinker a bit since it's in English. No problem.

    Unfortunate! Don't install Sony Acid Pro! It lags a lot, even for uninstallation! I didn't hesitate to do it. Making my machine crash countless times for a very disappointing result is extremely frustrating!! Not intuitive, nor ergonomic, I still haven't managed to touch a MIDI sequence with it! And yet I was able to with XP and Vista...
