Hello everyone, I know this topic is old but who knows, maybe someone will come across it, just like I did.
I have a pretty simple solution to propose for you to sync your wlp file to iTunes: when you open your wlp file, it will open with Windows Live Media. Do not save the file. When you are in WLM, go to the Library, there you will see your track in bold and highlighted. Right-click and press "Open container folder." There, note the folder (usually Downloads). Open iTunes, sync your iPod, add a file, and then go to the container folder.
There you go, it worked for me. I hope it works for you too.

Salut, can you give me a software to read WPL files?

It's simple. I may be responding too late and maybe this doesn't work for everyone. You just need to open the file with a video player, any one will do, find the save function (the sound, the music, etc...) below and change the type of folder, replacing ".wpl" with ".mp3". There you go. Hope this helps.
