Hello,
I would like to renew my computer equipment today.
I have chosen a CPU with a graphics card that features HD technology, and pleased with this discovery, I am going to the store to ask the seller if he has monitors that adopt this technology so that I can fully enjoy my new equipment.
He replies that no, but he has HDMI monitors.
This leads me to ask him about the difference between these two technologies, which he was unable to explain to my great dismay...
I am posting this message to find out if someone could explain the difference between a monitor with HD technology and a monitor referred to as "HDMI."
Thank you in advance.

Hi,
HD = High Definition, so it's the resolution:
-Full HD 1080p/i
-HD ready 720p
HDMI is the connectivity that we generally don't need on monitors since there are already DVI and VGA
Otherwise: "fully enjoy my new equipment" => the only differences will be clarity and displayable space
As for a HD screen, the fact that there aren’t any surprises me a lot since the vast majority of models on the market are.
1024% hooked on GHz!!!

Full HD, officially designated as HD (TV) 1080p, displays 1920x1080 in progressive/50Hz or 60Hz or 24p.
HD Ready, currently HD(TV), is 1280x720p or 1920x1080i.
HDMI and DVI are both digital connections, thus more suitable for HD. The main difference between the two is that HDMI carries both video and audio, while DVI carries only video. DVI is no longer available on TVs. In monitors, the trend is to abandon DVI in favor of HDMI and the 16:9 format for HD. So if the monitor has an HDMI input, you can be sure it is HD.
