My Mac turns on by itself!

Hello,
In the evening when I finish using my Mac, I normally shut it down... But the following day it turns on by itself... My Mac turns on all alone!
I'm not really sure what question to ask, but if someone has the patience to look into my problem, that would be very nice!

Configuration: Mac OS X / Safari 533.18.5

    Good evening,

    Go to System Preferences / Energy Saver /.. the Schedule button at the bottom of the window, and check if there is a schedule set to start the Mac automatically..

    which Mac was it again????? (the model and the OS) and how much RAM?
    is it recent?
    no major recent work on this Mac?
    any previous alerts?
