The Sims 2 Castaway DS Codes

Hello, I'm currently playing The Sims 2: Castaway on DS, and I learned that you can use codes, so I did some research and saw that you could summon a gnome by pressing "L, R, up arrow, X, R". So I did that, and I read that the gnome won't appear in the first area, so I went somewhere else and still didn't see any gnome. Can someone help me??? Thank you very much if you can help me figure out how to activate the codes!

Configuration: Windows XP / Firefox 3.6.10

    For codes on DS, you need Action Replay for all DS games, then you can put your codes
    What is Action Replay?
    It's a small cartridge like a game cartridge that you insert where you put your games, and then you go there and normally there's a menu with all the games that have been saved on your DS. You go to Sims No Frager and enter the codes you want to have; otherwise, there are plenty of other codes.
    The cartridge can be found in video game stores (Micromania, etc.)

    The code sequence you found is for the PSP game. For DS, you need an action replay and you have to find a series of codes (sims castaway DS Action replay code typed into Google should do the trick).
