Hello,

I have a big problem with a message at startup: "AHCI port3 device error"
"PRESS F1 TO RESUME"
<config> Windows Vista 64bit SP1 / Acer Aspire AX3810 Core2Quad
Memory 8GB DDR3 HDD 750GB
I tried a system restore but the PC refuses it and it freezes; I have to turn off the PC. I don’t know what to do and I would really appreciate some help. Thank you in advance.</config>

You must have an external USB drive or a USB key connected to your PC, and it seems to be unsuccessfully trying to boot from it, so you need to

-> Disconnect the faulty USB drive (Key)

-> Try to restart the PC, and if it does not find the main hard drive, you need to go into the BIOS to set the correct boot order.

No USB, but the Vista CD that I didn't remove. I'm trying it, I'll keep you updated. Thanks.

If it doesn't work, the problem is hardware... so go back to Acer for technical support and see you later.
