Hello!!
I have a question that I haven't been able to get an answer to; thank you for taking the time to enlighten me ;) :
- Is Intel RST compatible with AHCI?
- My motherboard is said to be compatible with Intel RST, but my SSD is not listed as compatible (I'm not talking about Intel Optane); can I enable RST then?
- Finally, is there a real performance gain considering that I am in AHCI? Or should I leave it as it is?
Thank you in advance!

Hello,
Yes, one does not prevent the other; Intel RST logically requires an Intel controller (chipset present on the motherboard) but can work with any disk. I have never seen a benchmark, but in principle, there is a performance gain, as well as for the "integrity" of data, electrical consumption...
