Hello,

I have a problem. I just installed Windows seven on my PC and I can't get my NETGEAR Netgear WG311 V2 wifi card to work. I can't find the drivers.

Does anyone have a solution? Thank you

Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 3.6.10

Hi!

A quick 30-second search on the Netgear site and you would have found it yourself...

Hello,

This driver is not compatible with Windows 7, I've checked, but thank you anyway.

In that case, I'm not sure you'll find a suitable driver for this card for Windows 7...

Anyway, try this:

I already tried this installation but the drivers are no longer available for seven, my father just found the solution, you have to use a driver for XP and it works

Thanks for your help anyway

Hello,

I had a bit of trouble too because depending on the searches, you don't come across the best drivers.

The best approach is not to install their software but only the driver (in general).

The one that works for the v2 on w7 is the one available on this page:

http://firmware.netgear-forum.com/?produit=WG311v2

Driver 2.0.0.7

Once downloaded and unzipped, go to Device Manager, right-click on the card, update the driver, and choose the folder wg311v2_v2_0_0_7/1.2B6/Driver/Windows XP

The driver installs and finally everything works (I had first done this with version 1 found elsewhere and the card found the networks but couldn't connect).

I hope this helps some people.
