Unable to access my YouTube account Solved/Closed

Question

Hello,

When I log into YouTube with my Google credentials, I reach a page to link my YouTube and Google accounts even though they are already linked (??). With no other choice, I enter my YouTube credentials and get this error message:

"This account is already linked to another Google username."

I can't access my account to unlink it, and moreover, I have a video to delete. Please respond, I can't take this anymore. I would like to recover my account = (

Hello Mick, thank you for your reply. It reassures me because I really thought this problem was rare and that I was alone in this case... (I hadn’t found anyone who had the same issue).

Oh yes. But no response, nonetheless.
I haven't been able to reconnect to my original account, inaccessible for 2 years. And my current one (recreated as I was advised to do...) is now also inaccessible.
A crazy thing.

Yes, it's really crazy, personally I don't plan to stay even a year with this blocked video that I want to delete, the others are not a big deal but on this one I posted a picture of myself so there you go...:/
Do you have any blocked videos on your account?

They need to give us a solution, this can't go on.

Hi boubou,
I just managed to reset my password (I set it to the same as before...) and so I was able to access my account again!
I requested several times to verify my identity via the Google account, it turned me down every time as usual and eventually directed me to a page to enter my email so they could send me a link to reset my password.
I had already done all of this (and maybe you did too), except this time, the procedure worked and the link in their email didn’t lead me to a dead end.
For me, clearly, they changed something to make it work.

Wow, that's awesome. And how many tries did it take you to get a good link? Personally, I don't have much hope left but I'm still willing to give it a shot.
As for the comments, it's not a big deal, I just want to delete my videos lol but if you're planning to reuse this account, it might not be practical :/ I'm happy for you^^

But it's strange, though, because very often I can't leave any comments.

Anyway, I hope you'll manage; I have a bottle chilled..!
I succeeded quite quickly yesterday; I didn't feel like I was doing anything differently than usual but it worked, they must have fixed the chronic inability to reset account and password (but why do that operation?).
But the issue with Google and YouTube accounts is also that they force you to adopt a password that’s not necessarily the one you wanted in the first place, which confuses things. That said, I had never forgotten it, so I don't quite understand.
Anyway.

Hey, I'm super happy for you, too bad about the comments. I still haven't been able to access my account even with your method... I don't think I'll be able to access it and I don't really need it anymore! My video has been deleted! That was all I wanted and that's fine now, finally =) Thank you very much for your help anyway. lol Well no, not at all, but I was seen in it and I don't like knowing that people can see me in a video and that I can't control its distribution the way I want, so it was better for that one to be deleted, but the others, I left them. Too bad!
