High Performance mode has disappeared.

Hello, my problem is that in power management mode, the high performance mode has completely disappeared. If I try to create another one, the other two: normal use and power saving are there, but high performance is missing and it says; Your power management mode information is not available. The file is not found.

Please help me!!!! My computer is a Vaio (Notebook)

Configuration: Windows Vista / Safari 533.4

go<<control panel<<power management then select in NORMAL USE; your PC should switch back to high performance and therefore no sleep mode possible.

There is no more High Performance... how to restore it when it is no longer in the options...
