YouTube full screen all white

Hello,
I’m going to introduce the problem directly: when I want to watch a video in full screen on YouTube (I've noticed the same issue on jeuxvideo.com), the screen is completely white but the sound still works. Even the YouTube bar at the bottom doesn’t show up. However, I can still go back to the desktop.
I’m using an old computer that I connected to the internet for the first time. I updated Adobe Flash Player yesterday. Nevertheless, the problem might be due to an outdated program...
How can I resolve this issue?

    I found it all by myself: you need to disable hardware acceleration (right-click --> settings).
