Round the border of an image in Word Solved

Question

Hello,
I would like to round the border of my images in Word 2007 to make the document softer.
These are actually graphs pasted from Excel (in image format); maybe I should do it in Excel before copying and pasting?

Hello, You can indeed "round the corners" in Excel. To do this, right-click on your graph / format the shape of the chart. In the "patterns" tab, check the box: "rounded corners".

For Word, it all depends on the version.

With versions 2007 and 2010, everything is possible. The Excel graph can be treated like any other shape, with softened edges, rounded corners, relief effects, shading, colors, etc.

In earlier versions, it's not possible to have rounded borders unless they were planned in advance in Excel.
