Hello,
My Chinese-made MP3 player is stuck on the hourglass and my PC no longer recognizes it. When I plug it into the PC, the machine asks to insert the CD. During installation, the following message appears: "the file AdfuUd.sys is missing" and it asks to browse for Update_tool and win 98 drive.
Configuration: Windows XP / Internet Explorer 7.0

what does your mp3 look like?
Even without connecting it to the computer, is there an hourglass?

The problem seems to be with the AdfuUd.sys file: it can't find it and then asks you to search for it by browsing the files and folders on your computer. If you can't find it, you might try downloading it from the Internet:
