Embed lyrics onto an mp3 file

Hello,
Is there software that allows you to insert lyrics onto an mp3 file (the equivalent of a prompter)?

    I believe you can overlay two audio tracks with Audacity, but I'm not sure. What exactly is it for? (if it’s not too personal :p)

    To do this, create a folder and name it after your song title, for example: rock.mp3. Then, write the lyrics and save it in LRC format with the same title as your song, which gives you in your folder:

    rock.mp3 and rock.LRC

    There you go :)

    Gamisensei: I know Audacity very well, but you can't insert lyrics.
    Guillaume: It's to sing while watching the lyrics scroll on my PC, Karaoke style.
    Which software to use, and how to record the lyrics in LRC?
