Hello, I've already seen a lot of posts about getting the first 3 Pokémon in the game, but each time, it was for a version other than HeartGold (the new gold). The technique was often;
1°) Start a new game.
2°) After the long dialog, go choose your Pokémon. Just before choosing the Pokémon, save in front of the table where the 3 Pokémon are resting in their balls.
3°) Choose your Pokémon. DO NOT SAVE!!!
4°) Continue your journey normally WITHOUT SAVING!!!
5°) Return to the lab after the call from Professor OAK. You will encounter your rival.
6°) In the lab, do what you have to do WITHOUT SAVING!!!
7°) Capture a Pokémon (e.g., Rattata). DO NOT SAVE!!!
8°) Deposit the starter Pokémon in a box.
9°) From here, be careful: Change the box. The confirmation message appears. "There is already a save. Replace it?" Say "YES". Before "Saving... Do not turn off" appears, turn off the console.
10°) If you did the manipulation correctly, you should be in front of Professor OAK's table with the 3 balls. Choose another Pokémon.
11°) Repeat steps 4 to 9. Then check your box, and you will have the 2 other starter Pokémon in the box and the last one in your team.
Does it work for HeartGold as well or is it a different method?
