Grayed menus on Samsung television

Hello,

I just acquired a Samsung LE32C630 television and I have many grayed-out menus (inaccessible), such as 100Hz, sharpness, Surround sound...
Is that normal?

On my old Sharp LCD, all the menus were accessible regardless of the source (TV, Computer, Xbox...)!
What can I do? =/

    If there is nothing plugged into your grayed-out peripherals, that's normal.

      I'm not talking about the sources, my Xbox and my computer work well, and the TV too. =)
      I'm talking about the settings for image or sound quality.
      Do these settings depend on the sources then? For example, if I'm on HDMI1 with my PC, maybe the 100Hz is not available?
