Hello,

I have a little problem with my mobile phone: it calls people from my contacts without my knowledge. I noticed it because I was told (that I had called and that I could be heard talking to my mother on the bus!!!!!) Moreover, the unwanted calls are in the call history. Now, even if Alzheimer's is looming over me (I’m 25 years old :-( ), I know very well who I’m calling or not. My keypad is locked after a few seconds of inactivity, so a misclick seems unlikely.
If anyone has a little idea about this...
I await your valuable help.
I should mention that my phone is a Sagem Myx-2
Without Bluetooth, no downloading logos or anything, just the basics.

I'm starting to really worry because since I've had my phone for two years, nothing strange has ever happened. I replied to a text from a friend and 5 minutes after sending my reply, my phone called someone from my contact list.
In 3 days, my phone has called two people, and I've never had this kind of issue before.
I'm really starting to freak out that someone might have listened to my phone conversations.
If you have any other information or an idea on how to get rid of a virus and what consequences this could have on my personal life, I thank you...

Hi there,

weird, your thing anyway, I also have a Sagem Myx-2, and it doesn’t pull this kind of unpleasant prank on me yet.
To definitely rule out a user error, how many people have told you that you called them? And if it's only the people in your contacts, what's the point other than blowing your plan?
One possibility could be that your operator has messed with you to make you spend more money...lol

It can happen even with a locked keyboard; all it takes is for the phone to be in your pocket, and without realizing it, you could accidentally press some keys while moving.

It happens to me sometimes.

I confirm, my NOKIA does the same thing.
In my pocket, or in a case that's too tight, a little pressure on a random button and there you go... it calls a contact from the directory.

Don't worry, ... no viruses in there.

Hello my friend,

In my humble opinion, I think that your phone is losing some memory and that it needs maintenance;

otherwise, in the opposite case, I think it's an electronic virus that is causing the problem, either through SMS or by hackers.

I assure you, it's not easy to listen to a phone conversation. Well, it's not something a novice can do.

On the other hand, the virus is likely; check on antivirus sites. They should have eradication tools.

And ask the question in virus/security.

same problem for my neighbor and the phone was off when the call took place and moreover the phone doesn't ring at my place.... weird, isn't it??? do you have any solutions apart from paying orange to fix it

My phone calls on its own too. I think it’s hacked and I'm really scared. Earlier, my mom called me to ask why I called my dad when my battery is dead!!! I really freaked out!!!

Your phone calls by itself like my old one, and every time one of my phones does that, I change it right away because then your credit disappears and on top of that, people think you're crazy...

My phone is a brand new LG KU990i and it's calling the first entry in the directory. I created a fake entry "AAAA", number 0000 and now it's calling the first "B". It's a touchscreen mobile and to call, you have to unlock it, press the directory icon, press the name, then press display, then the number, and finally call... I don't understand how all this can happen by itself in the pouch!!!

Then I got a Samsung five and it happened again, so I think it must be my provider that's messing up.

I don't know if this might be useful to you, and it seems unlikely that you haven't thought of it, but I've had this problem a few times... When my headphones are plugged in! A simple press on the "answer/end" button, and my phone would automatically call the last person I contacted!
If your headphones are not plugged in, though, I really don't know what it could be...

Hello,
I also have a problem with my phone. Yesterday, it called one of my contacts. This person was with me at the time of the call. Unfortunately, they didn't have time to answer. My number was therefore listed in the missed calls, at the exact date and time of the call. However, there is no record of that call on my phone. My phone was quietly upstairs.
(I should clarify that there were only 2 of us in the house :).
The weirdest part is that I had no credit. Materially, I can't see how this could be possible.
Has this ever happened to you? If someone could shed some light on this, that would be nice.
P.S.: it's a NOKIA

Just 5 minutes ago I had the same problem. In 20 minutes my phone called 5 numbers, 2 times the same number and then 3 times another number. I had my headphones plugged in. What worries me is that I just changed it for Christmas!! It's a Samsung Wave. Please help me!

Hello everyone, I finally find people who had the same problem as me.
Okay, it’s been almost a year since you started this conversation, but I will still describe my case which is even weirder. It started in 2010 when my phone was off and beeped. My husband’s phone, the one from my daughter, called her father while they were both at home. He answered, but nothing happened, of course. Mine (the mother) called my daughter. Again this morning, it beeped the landline at our house. Fortunately, it was 7:00 AM, time to get up.
