Keyboard issue, at sign on Mac

same problem but @ is on the left of w
otherwise my at key gives <

Hello, I looked at the types of keyboards whose flag may resemble the flag of France, and the Slovak one has that character instead of @; the Slovak (whose flag contains blue, white, and red) types < instead of @, and the Russian types > instead of @. To check if you made a mistake, click on the flag (that you mentioned in your question), then on Show Keyboard Viewer, and check that at the top of the keyboard viewer window it says French; if it doesn't say French, go to system preferences, language and text, click on the Input Sources tab, in the list of languages, check the box next to French (don't check French - numeric) and uncheck all other languages that might be checked. Then try typing the @ key again.
