Singles 2 on Windows 7

Under Windows 7, you right-click on the game icon on the desktop _under Properties _Compatibility_mode compatibility _you check the box and select Windows XP or whatever you want _OK and there you go, it works for me anyway!!

Before installing Desperate Housewives: The Game, exit all currently running programs and applications (including background applications like antivirus programs or popup blockers). Once all programs are closed, insert Disk 1 into the CD-ROM drive.

If your CD-ROM drive's autoplay feature is enabled, a welcome screen will automatically appear once the CD-ROM is inserted into the drive. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

If the welcome screen does not appear automatically, open My Computer (from the desktop or the Start menu), then click on the CD-ROM drive icon. Double-click on Setup.exe to start the installation. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

If the autoplay function of the CD-ROM drive is enabled, a welcome screen will automatically appear when the CD-ROM is inserted into the drive. Click Play to launch the program.

If not, click Start in the Windows taskbar, then hover over All Programs. In the submenu, choose Buena Vista Games, then the Desperate Housewives directory, and click on the Desperate Housewives icon.

This program is designed to use Microsoft DirectX 9.0c or a newer version. This software provides the necessary components and drivers to enhance all aspects of high-performance applications.

To run this program with optimal performance, your graphics card and sound card must be compatible with DirectX 9.0c and have DirectX 9.0c certified drivers. If there are sound or display problems, the source of the issue is likely an outdated or incompatible driver.

To verify that the drivers installed on your computer are DirectX 9.0c certified, run the DXDIAG.EXE diagnostic tool that was copied to your hard drive during the installation of DirectX. --- To open the DirectX diagnostic tool, follow these steps:

Click Start, then Run from the Windows taskbar.

Type "DXDIAG," then click OK or press the Enter key on your keyboard. The program will search for information about your system configuration and the diagnostic tool will open a new window.

NOTE: If the system cannot locate a version of DXDIAG, it likely means you do not have a recent version of DirectX. However, you can download one from Microsoft's website at the following address:

When you launch DXDIAG, some or all of the following tabs appear on the screen: System, DirectX Files, Display, Sound, Music, Input, Network, and Additional Help.

- The System tab contains information about your system and tells you which version of DirectX is installed on your computer. System information includes, among other things: Date/Time, Computer Name, Operating System, Language, Processor, Memory, Paging File, and DirectX Version.

- The DirectX Files tab lists the names and versions of all DirectX files installed on your computer. If DXDIAG detects a problem, a warning message will appear in the "Notes" window.

- The Display tab contains detailed information about your display settings and allows you to disable DirectDraw, Direct3D, and AGP acceleration. Additionally, it allows you to test DirectDraw, Direct3D, and AGP textures. If DXDIAG detects any problems in the display settings or driver files, a warning message will appear in the "Notes" window. Note your graphics card name as well as the amount of RAM it has.

- The Sound tab contains detailed information about the settings and drivers for your sound card. It allows you to test DirectSound and adjust the Audio Hardware Acceleration Level. If DXDIAG detects any issues with the sound card files or drivers, a warning message will appear in the "Notes" window.

- The Music tab contains your current MIDI settings and allows you to test DirectMusic. If DXDIAG detects any problems with the MIDI settings, a warning message will appear in the "Notes" window.

- The Input tab lists the input devices (joystick, gamepad, steering wheel) connected to your computer as well as the names of the corresponding drivers installed on your computer.

- The Network tab lists the Network drivers installed and running on the computer. It also allows you to test DirectPlay.


From this window, you can save all information about DirectX in text format at any time by clicking the Save All Information... button.


NOTE: If your sound card and graphics card drivers are not certified, contact your manufacturer to verify that the drivers installed on your computer are the latest and compatible with DirectX. If you do not have certified drivers, compatible but uncertified drivers should suffice to run the program acceptably. If the drivers for your graphics card and sound card are not compatible with DirectX, the program may exhibit malfunctions.

The serial number is usually written on the CD. Mine is like this ^^

This game and others are incompatible with Windows 7.
