Error 5B00 on Canon Pixma MP 550

Hello,

my Canon Pixma MP 550 printer is displaying error 5B00 - I have cleaned the waste ink reservoir but can't find how to reset the waste ink counter. I have tried methods for other printers but none of them work. A big thank you to anyone who can help me.

    Hello,
    you need a special little key to reset the cartridge indicator, usually provided in refill packs, if you pay attention to ink compatibilities.
