Hello,

I would like to know if it is possible to have 2 types of charts in one.
In my case, my main chart is a "Scatter plot" on which I want to display quartiles (so lines).

Thank you.

Hi,

The quartiles are not lines but values from your series.
What you can do is create a new series with your quartiles and add it to your chart. Are you using Excel?

It's true that I calculated them, and it gives me fixed values, but actually I was shown a scatter plot with lines..
However, the average or the median.. it will indeed be a line, right?
Yes, I use Excel

(I just found this http://blogperso.univ-rennes1.fr/arthur.charpentier/index.php/tag/CRAN/page/2)

No, the mean is a value, just like your median which is the second quartile.
You are probably confusing it with the regression line.
