To send a fax in Outlook:
1) create a new message
2) in the sender field, put the fax number preceded by "fax" and enclosed in brackets. Example:
[fax:0158515170]
you can include multiple numbers by repeating the operation and placing a semicolon between the brackets. Example:
[fax:0240224032]; [fax:0156778866] etc...
3) attach the fax you wish to send (in Word, PPT, or Excel format)
4) do not put a subject or text in the text box
5) click send!!!
a few minutes later, you will receive a confirmation email of your fax being sent.
It’s a system that works; I use it every day in my office, however, whether it is a paid option that my company has implemented, I don’t know, but what I do know is that it works and it’s quite handy (I notably create distribution lists to send everything at once)!!
Good evening to everyone and happy faxing.

Good evening to everyone and happy faxing.
I had forgotten how simple it was.
I need to get back to... sending faxes via Outlook!
It wasn't just a lapse of memory I had, but a chasm.
Good night, and thanks again.
I was actually trying to avoid mail and at the same time I didn't have an email address.
I will give it a try.
Have a good evening.
You need to put the fax as the sender but not as the recipient? In any case, I'm experimenting, but it's not working. Sending rejected.
Hello there,
Why not create your own discussion instead of resurrecting an old one?
A classic fax is sent via a modem integrated into the PC, external to a fax machine connected to a dedicated analog line, which will then be accessible through the optional installation of the Windows fax utility or the software linked to the modem.
The current trend, if there still is one for faxing, is towards electronic faxing; to my knowledge, it is not natively included in any email software, but it can be implemented by the provider (some Pro subscriptions) or go through an appropriate server to which subscription is generally paid.
