Bonjour,
When I connected my phone to my computer via a USB cable and tried to send a music file to my computer, I received error code 0x80030001.
Why is this happening and how can I resolve it?
Please help me.

Hi, I don't know if you found an answer, but I'm posting this in case someone has the same problem.
This error only occurs (at least in my case) when trying to move or copy a file found via the "search." You just need to right-click on the file, select "open file location," and there you can move it without any problem normally.
I hope I helped you :)

Hello, I have this problem when I want to import tracks from my phone.
So I found a technique that somewhat bypasses the system.
If you can play the track, it means there is a copy of the file on your computer.
For Windows 7 or Vista (maybe):
Go to search: %AppData%, then Roaming will appear, click on it.
A window opens in Roaming. At the top (in the Windows navigation bar), you will see AppData, click on it. Now you have Local, LocalLow, Roaming, click on Local. Now in the search at the top right, type the track you want. It appears and there you go, you can then copy it to the music folder. ;)
Wertes.

Hi!
I have a Samsung Player One and I wanted to transfer music from my phone to my computer, and I had the same problem as you.
When I plug in my device, it offers me 3 different ways to access the files on my phone (media player, PC studio, mass storage). I first chose media player, but that's when I got the error code, so I switched to mass storage and that option works.
I hope this will help you.
See you!

Yes, the format is mp3 and the USB port works normally because I sent myself a song yesterday and it worked perfectly. It's only today that it's doing this and I don't know what this error code means.
Hello everyone,
I had the same problem: copying all the photos from my iPhone 4S to my laptop.
Copy/paste, drag and drop...nothing...
Strangely, I changed the view of my explorer to "thumbnails", they appeared and I was able to send them locally.
Strange because if it's a CHMOD issue (and a device restriction policy, thanks Apple sic!), it should be straightforward...either all or nothing...
