Can someone tell me where to find the square root button on the Casio FC-100 v

For a square root, you successively press the keys: 2, SHIFT, and ^.
You apparently do not have the square root function as a shortcut on this calculator, only the root function. Therefore, just proceed as described above, changing the initial number to get the root you need!
For a cube root: 3, SHIFT, ^
