Hi,
how do I create piezometric maps in Surfer?

You need to create a data sheet (either in Surfer or with Excel... but pay attention to the formatting...;)) with the names of the piezometers, the location (X/Y coordinates or Lambert, it doesn't matter) and then the value of your piezometric level (that is the Z elevation).
Then, in Surfer, go to the "GRID" menu and then "Data...".
Select the data file to use (the one you just created...).
Then, select the columns where your X, Y, Z data are located (Column A, B, C,...).
Then, keep the Kriging method (Gridding Method).
Then, click OK...
Finally, to display your data, choose "Contour Map..." from the "MAP" menu, and there you go... a piezo map...
You can also create a 3D representation with Surface... Add the names of your piezometers on the map with Post Map... and even create families of piezometers (isopiezes) with Classed Post Map...
