Hello everyone

I have a file that I can't open: a .sfv file
Apparently, this file is associated with .rar archives. It should work like when we have a rar archive in several parts (non.part1.exe, name.part2.rar, name.part3.rar) except that here, the file that "controls" the archives is not an exe, but a .sfv file (so I have: name.part1.sfv, name.part1.rar, name.part2.rar). But I can't open it. What program should I use?

You can use the Quick SFV software to read the file... but the purpose of this file is to check if the archive is okay or not.
However, you may not be able to open your file because some parts are missing (possibly the .par parts).
Then you need to use the Quick PAR software which allows you to recreate the complete archive, but you need all the files on your PC first.

Okay, but now, how do I use the archives?
I have files: nom.part01.sfv and nom.part01.rar up to nom.part17.rar.
How do I use these archives? Is there a way to use them?

what happens when you click on the archive name.part01.rar??
it should normally open the archive for you, and then you'll be able to decompress it.
if it doesn't work... then you probably lack some archives...
either some .rar files (the continuation of the numbers, 18, 19, etc) or the .par files

Indeed, it works by decompressing the archive named part01.rar
I thought it required an exe for the decompression to work.
