Hello,

I would like to in Excel - in a cell containing a 14-digit number, extract or copy the 8th and 9th digits into the adjacent column.

EX: base number = 12345678900015
adjacent column = 89

Is this possible?

What formula???

THANK YOU

Hello,

to extract data from A1 the 8th and 9th columns, put in B2:

=MID(A2,8,2)

then click and drag to apply it to the whole column.

Best regards.
