Hello!
I received my new monitor and I was planning to work in "dual screen" mode. I connected my "main" monitor to the VGA port on the graphics card and the "secondary" monitor to the VGA port on the motherboard.
Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to detect my "secondary" monitor, and I also think I have a problem with my "display panel," as it shows only one screen like this:

Instead of having an "interface" like this, with two screens:

I have a GeForce 8600 GT graphics card with updated drivers (from the site touslesdrivers.com)
Thank you for your responses.

I believe it's not possible to set up a dual screen between the motherboard and the graphics card. You would need to connect your two monitors to your graphics card, and since you have an 8600GT, that's perfectly possible. Connecting to the motherboard implies that you want to use the graphics chipset of the motherboard. So, it's like you're trying to do an "SLI" between your graphics card and the graphics chipset of your motherboard, which is not possible.
