DISABLE MY LAPTOP SCREEN

Hello,
I have added a larger screen to my laptop. But how do I disable the laptop screen, because I have two screens on. I can't find the solution. Thank you for your information
Configuration: Windows XP / Internet Explorer 7.0

    Hello,
    You need to go to "configuration," click on video card, a window will pop up proposing
    multiple screens, choose external display only!
    I have a Satellite U300 running Vista and XP, and that's how I proceed.
