Acer aspire 1640 Z drivers for Windows 7

Hello,
hi community. I believe that contrary to what I thought, Windows 7 might be a success, but as far as I'm concerned, I can't say the same. I wanted to change the system for my Acer Aspire 1640z, but now I am facing a driver issue. Neither the graphics driver nor the Wi-Fi and network driver seems to be found in the searches I have done. So I have to ask for your opinion, but also your support. I ran a scan with Everest, but nothing. And since I don't have a connection, I can't access all the drivers for a scan.
So I'm turning to you!

    Is the Wi-Fi driver working?
    As for the graphics card, that's another matter, it's not recent, try to install this driver manually.
    Download and extract this driver to your desktop.

    -Open the Device Manager, right-click on: "Standard VGA controller" => "Update Driver".
    -Search for a driver on my computer.
    -Click on Browse and select: the folder with the extracted driver.
    -Restart the PC.

    Did you install it from the setup?
    Uninstall the driver, restart the PC, and try to install it manually.

    -Open Device Manager, right-click on: "Network Adapter" => "Update Driver".
    -Browse my computer for a driver.
    -Click on Browse and select: the folder with the extracted driver.

    I had the same problem and thanks to EVEREST everything is fine

    Hi,

    this is a PC made for XP, in the device manager, right-click on: "network adapter" (where you have the yellow exclamation mark) properties => details.
    In the dropdown menu, select: "hardware identification number".
    Post the information. (a string of numbers and letters)

    just copy the first line, that's enough.

    Hi Kitty-Hawk,
    for the Wi-Fi, the uninstallation goes well, but every time I try to connect, it tells me that the network card is missing. Apparently, the network card is not detected. Probably the network driver is causing the problem.

    Just visit the site: www.acer.com. But I don't think it works on Windows 7 or Vista... So, I recommend XP!

      Hello, the solution is very simple: just connect an Ethernet cable, the PC is connected to the internet, then set up automatic updates for Windows 7, and the Wi-Fi works on its own afterwards.
      It automatically installs the drivers for the video; I don’t know about that yet.
