Hello,

I signed up a few days ago on the Flirt Fair site for a 14-day trial, but unfortunately, I don't know how to cancel my subscription, knowing that at the end of the trial period they will charge me for 3 months of subscription (which I don't want) for 109 euros...
In the T&Cs they say to go to: service@support-ff.fr but unfortunately that link doesn't exist... I don't know what to do especially since I entered my credit card number to get this trial period so they are able to charge me...
If someone can help me... I have a few days left to unsubscribe...
Can I block the payment and if so, how?
Thank you in advance for your help...!
Configuration: Windows Vista / Firefox 3.5.8

Hello,
I just read your posts and went to the site to better understand what it was about

So I created a little profile on this site that stirs up passions and here’s what I found:

Once the profile is created for free, when you want to sign up, you have two options:
- the "test" pack for 14 days with a payment of 1.99 euros AND an extension if you do not cancel, I quote "up to one day before the end of the allotted time" (on the same page) or
- the pack they call "Basic" for one month.

Everything seemed clear to me, it’s written black on white that you have until the last day of the trial period to cancel and that is right where you choose your subscription and credit card.
Otherwise, once registered (even without subscribing to anything), I also noticed that there are several ways to contact them (actually, you have plenty of choices):
- by clicking, when you are on the site (and this on any page, besides) at the bottom right or at the top left on "Help" (rather logical too), you end up on a page ("Generalities") with questions/answers and you find in 10 the address of customer service
- still in this same "Help" section, there is the "registration" section, with the address in question 5 "regarding my bill payment"
- still in this same "Help" section, in the next section "Premium Member," in the first question, I quote "If you have questions about your Premium status, please contact our customer service at the following address: service@support-ff.fr."
- by clicking on "Legal Notice" at the bottom, you have the contact address
- by clicking on "Terms of Use" at the bottom, you have the subscription and cancellation conditions explained and you have the internet address to contact them (only 4 times)

Finally, to cancel, you just need to send an email to service@support-ff.fr, which is not a site but their email address (a little clarification that apparently is necessary).

So I don't see why some want to oppose their card or have other crazy ideas (why not spend all the money we have in our account so that there’s nothing left for them?... that’s a joke of course) or why some can’t find how to reach them (the address is mentioned 8 times on the site!!!).

Hoping this moves things along, and that my little investigation might help you.

Looking forward,

Claude

I want to stop this site, it hasn't brought me anything. It's useless.

Send a cancellation email to the address service@support-ff.fr stating:
- Last name & First name
- Username
- Subscription purchased with invoice number (but not very important, I think they don't check)
- Reason for cancellation

Hi

this email sounds familiar...

@mmmrrr: I also didn't have any connection problems until today

the site had a makeover not long ago, so I suppose they do have some maintenance to do

in any case, it's clear that they're really customer-friendly, a free month of premium, that's really generous! thanks guys!

of course, a flirtfair member with an extra month of premium :D

I found the solution to unsubscribe. First, you need to go to my account, then scroll down to contact. After that, you will have the option to modify your profile or cancel it. There you go, good luck everyone!

In fact, you need to read their terms and conditions of use, it says how to unsubscribe... Always make sure to read everything that's written online (I got caught by Meetic, they have the same automatic renewal system).

Hello,

to unsubscribe, you need to send a message to: service-support-ff.fr
including your first name(s) and last name, email address, username, the amount paid for the membership, as well as the reasons for the unsubscription (for informational purposes). Normally, after that, you will be unsubscribed.

you can cancel (at least I didn't pay anything, it was to see) at the bottom of the page written in small you go to contact -> (then you have choices) modify or cancel the profile -> then last choice cancel profile (hoping that those who paid their subscription are not trapped, there you go, I hope I helped ^^

@Soibo: Personally, I disabled my profile so that they wouldn't keep sending me messages. Just go to "Contact" - "Cancel Profile".

To get the answer, it was enough to read the various messages in this topic, for example, that of pfeffen on July 22, 2010, at 4:52 PM

Otherwise, here is an excerpt from the terms of service (Conditions générales d'utilisation):

"(2) Each User can unsubscribe at any time, up to one (1) day before the expiration of the current subscription for the TEST package, and fourteen (14) days before the expiration of the current subscription for the BASIC package. Unsubscribing can be done, at the User's discretion, online (in the "My Account" - Premium Subscription section) or via email. For perfect identification of the User, the email with the subject of unsubscribing must include the following information: first name(s) and last name, email address, username, the amount paid for membership, as well as the reasons for unsubscribing (for information purposes). Upon unsubscribing, all recorded data related to the User's profile will be erased and the contractual relationship described in paragraph III. (1) will end. "

It seems quite clear to me.

Have a good day,
Isis

Hello, yeah I got caught as well, supposedly it was already too late...
I had to pay the 109 euros...

However, if it's not too late for you, contact them at service@support-ff.fr and tell them that you do not wish to continue the trial period with a premium contract for 3 months and ask them to confirm it properly.

Best regards, hoping it won't be too late for both of you.

Hi
I haven't had access to this site for two days, even though I signed up and paid for a 14-day trial on March 25.
To cut to the chase, and considering the various people who have had money fraudulently taken, I’ve canceled my credit card
They will automatically unsubscribe me.

How did you do it?

Hi.
Well, for me I think it's going to be too late to make a complaint since it's already been a month. Indeed, I also haven't had access to the site for 2 days, except in other languages: we can access it in .it, .com, etc.

But I haven't had access in .fr for two days either...
I think I'm going to send an email tonight.
I'll let you know if I get any explanations.
Best regards.

PS: It's definitely suspicious and unclear compared to other offers. In any case, I was able to access it all of March without any issues, as well as the second half of February.
It's good if you were able to block it, because anyway the service is quite poor, I don't find the site very active and I have the impression that there are a lot of fake profiles.

I received my answer this morning and I do have access to the other platform which looks exactly the same apart from the domain name:

Dear Member of Flirtfair.fr,

As you may have noticed, our dating platform www.flirtfair.fr is currently unavailable due to maintenance.
In fact, we are working on improving our services in order to provide you with a more efficient service.
However, your satisfaction and loyalty are very important to us! That is why we are providing you with access to our partner platform www.desirmoi.fr, where you can log in normally using your usual login credentials. To do this, simply enter your usual login details in the designated fields at the top right of the homepage www.desirmoi.fr.
Furthermore, we would like to compensate you for the inconvenience caused by offering you 1 month FREE as a Premium Member. This benefit is granted to you as an exception and will be implemented automatically.
If you have any further questions, we remain at your disposal at the following address. support-france@billmm.net.

Sincerely,

Jade Touraix

Hello,

I made the same mistake today and I sent two emails to their customer service.
The best thing you can do is to change your credit card; depending on the agreement you have with your bank, it should be free.
That's what I'm going to do starting tomorrow.

Good luck

I have the same issue; I just blocked my credit card so they can no longer withdraw money from me, but my banker told me that I would not be able to recover the 119 euros. I just made a claim to the email they provide (service@support-ff.fr). I hope this address is valid. If anyone has information, I leave you my email: (removed by moderation). Thank you in advance.
