How to run an exe file in DOS

Hello,
My question is simple: how to launch a .exe file in DOS? I want to know the exact commands because I keep trying but can't get it to work.
My directory is as follows (written exactly as it appears on screen):
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32>

In this directory, I want to launch the file:
OSUNINST.EXE
I have checked with DIR, the file is indeed in this directory.

Please give me the exact command, with spaces or other symbols, because I believe my problem is that I am not typing the command exactly right. :)
Configuration: Windows XP / Firefox 3.5.8

Hello

Are you planning to uninstall Windows from the source?

Nothing will be possible; you will see on the screen:

The setup program cannot uninstall Windows XP because the necessary registry information is missing.

If you really want to have this message appear, type the following commands:

start => run: CMD

cd c:\
cd windows
cd windows\system32
osuninst.exe

For faster execution, type:
Cd c:\windows\system32

You can only run this file from the Windows interface
It’s not a DOS file, you won’t be able to run it

My computer originally ran on Windows Media Center.
I accidentally deleted some files and registry keys. As a result, explorer.exe would no longer open, and I only had the wallpaper.
So I tried to repair Windows using an installation CD for Windows XP Pro instead of the original CD (Windows Media Center).
However, the installation process cannot complete because the product key does not work.
That’s why I’m trying to uninstall the Windows I shouldn’t have installed.
The following site suggests that it is possible to do this using osuninst.exe:

If you could suggest a solution for DOS commands.
Thank you.

Hello,

Hey hey, even faster. Since all the executables in windows\ or system32\ can be launched from anywhere, even from Run, etc.

Simply OSUNINST is enough.

Jimmy02,
Depending on the software used for erasing in the registry.
Usually, all without exception (by default) offer to back up the deletion before proceeding. Check in which directory this backup (.REG) was made and double-click on that file!

Better yet, never clean a registry with any tools whatsoever.
Without being aware of each of the deletions.
Anyway, there is absolutely no benefit in cleaning the registry. It does not improve speed or anything.
