Hello,
Recently I received an email from an address I didn't know. The guy who sent it attached a doctored photo of me to make it look like I was naked in it, and he's threatening to send it to my contacts and put it online if I don't send him real photos of me naked. I honestly felt terrible reading this message...
I'm not planning to play his game, but I would like to know what I can do about it. If I go to the police to file a complaint, will it serve any purpose or is it better to just ignore him?
Thank you in advance for your responses!

Honestly, the best thing is to ignore it.
The police, even though it's somewhat their job to deal with this, will do absolutely nothing. They will take the report, and then it will just sit on a desk.
There is no crime committed at the moment, the photo montage has not been published, so for now, the guy can do whatever he wants on his computer, as long as he doesn't publish it, you can't do anything against him.
So indeed, the best thing is to ignore it, block his address and that's it.

Wait!
I would like to know if you are registered on Facebook because he could have taken your picture from there
and especially do not delete his address, just block him and call the police as soon as possible, it’s serious and they will definitely help you.

It must be someone close or far who knows you, since they have your photo.
You keep the matter under wraps and if he/she does it again, you will already report it to the authorities.

You can try, but it'll be almost a lost cause...........
Is he putting it into action? And? The first photo is a fake, so the following ones will be too. So if someone tells you they saw you naked on the Net, you tell them "oh really, you check out naked girls on the internet" and that they're all fakes.
And what makes you think that if you give REAL naked photos of yourself, those won't be the ones that end up on the Net later? Have you thought about that??

The first thing to do facing that is to try a little trick... If I remember correctly, there was an option on Facebook that allows you to hide your online status from 'non-friends' and that might be enough. Then you just have to wait and look at a couple of things in the meantime, (well, a coffee break, I don’t know...). And then you see if he's just bluffing: you check what's happening on all your posts and see if there's something like: "Yeah, well, she bailed out..."
Either you take the matter seriously, so the cops, etc...
Or you ignore it, considering it just another spam.

I'm being threatened too. I have a picture of a girl in the pants down and several girls are asking me for it to have some fun on the net, and now they're threatening me with a complaint because one girl is not 18, but she's naked on the net. Everything is mixed up, so we can't tell the exact age of the people.
