Hello,
I have an incomprehensible problem;
when I tried to turn on my Packard Bell laptop that was working fine last night, the password entry screen appeared, but now I can't enter the password;
nothing is being typed as if the keyboard has stopped working!!!
this is annoying since I can't even access the desktop to make any checks
I tried unplugging and replugging the battery, starting in safe mode with the F8 key, but since the keyboard isn't responding!! I have a wired infrared mouse that is working and allowed me to shut down for a restart...
nothing works!!
I'm a bit panicked because I haven't backed up all my work documents and photos, and if I can't access it and have to reset everything,
I don't have a USB keyboard to try that, so...
if someone could help me, that would be really kind
have a nice day
lilie

Good evening
I managed to start the computer by using the virtual keyboard to type my password; I spent my afternoon backing up everything that could be
Do you think it could be the battery?
Now that the computer is on, what should I do??
Knowing that I checked in control panel/keyboard and it says use a standard PS/2 keyboard
but that "Windows cannot load the driver for this hardware. This driver may be corrupted or missing (code 39)"
What does that mean?
It shows this for all types of keyboards
Yesterday I had problems with Open Office which was not working anymore, could it be related??
Thank you
