Alphabetical order in Word

Select the text from the list; Under the Home tab, in the Paragraph group, click Sort; In the Sort Text dialog box, under Sort by, select Ascending or Descending.

Hi raro, you can do it in Excel, go to (data/sort ascending or descending).

but in my numbers I have 3 types: only numbers, only letters, and numbers + letters

Otherwise, I found a solution that works but is lengthy: create new files in a folder
and name each key for each new file and then sort by name and it puts everything in order whereas Excel does not put numbers and letters in order.

With Open Office: Tools --> Sort (after having previously selected the text).

Being on Linux/Ubuntu and not Windows, I couldn't benefit from the trial version of OpenOffice, and the appweb on skydrive did not offer the sorting option!

I thus discovered that I could use "LibreOffice Writer" (go to Tools then Sort...)

To find it, you can view your software by hovering your pointer over the bar at the top of your screen in the tab "Go to..." then in "Computer/File systems/usr/share/applications" or in the program "Ubuntu Software Center" (section "Installed"), or else by right-clicking on "Home of the dashboard" > "applications"
