Hello,

I bought a SONY BDP S 350 Blu-ray player connected to a Sony Bravia TV with an HDMI cable, but I am facing a black screen with the following message: out of standard. Can you help me because I'm at my wit's end.

Look on your Blu-ray player's remote control or on the front of the player for a button that says "im out" or "select im" or something similar to change the resolution of the Blu-ray player.

I finally got to the menu by long-pressing a button that resets the system.
Unfortunately, now I can't get out of the "Home" or menu even though everything has been set up; when I notify that the setup is complete I come back to the menu without being able to exit it...

Sorry, but even after downloading the complete manual, I couldn't find the solution. At the end, once you've completed the "easy setup," you need to click on finish and it should normally disappear. Have you tried turning off the player and then turning it back on after that? What does it say?

If it still does the same thing, have you made sure you have a good cable and that everything is connected properly? If everything is fine except for the player, it might be defective. If it's been less than 7 days (or 14 days for other stores), you can quickly return it and request a "standard" exchange (for the same product). Otherwise, unfortunately, you'll have to go through customer service or "negotiate."

Otherwise, I really have no idea, sorry.
