Hello,
I was signed up on OVS, and for this new year I wanted to change my username. So I unsubscribed from OVS. Since then, I can't reconnect. I feel like I've tried everything: changing my username, creating new email addresses, but nothing works. Either I get told that my login is incorrect, or my address belongs to an old user, etc., etc.................. Could you please respond clearly, as I'm not very good with computers? Thank you in advance.

To unsubscribe from the OVS site, go to "personal space" (at the top of the purple banner)
then "my profile" (at the top of the orange banner), then scroll down to the bottom of the page, on the right "Delete my account"-

I found it!!!!! :D
1- Go to your page
2- Log in
3- Click on your username to view your profile
4- Scroll to the bottom of your page
5- There you will go to the purple bar in the personal space
6- You will land on the "my personal information" page
7- In the box, there are sentences, look where it says "you should add a photo of yourself to your profile"
8- Click on "your profile" which is in purple
9- Scroll to the bottom of your page and on the right, you will find "delete my account" and there you go, that's it!! ;)

With your old registration email for OVS, you can reactivate your canceled account by clicking again on the activation link of your registration.
You will revalidate your personal OVS account for the first time. -

Hello
I would like to know how to unsubscribe from OVS. I found how to remove myself from the events but not how to remove myself from the site itself. Thank you for your help. -
Hello,
you are probably the victim of an overly zealous protection system; some websites have pronounced paranoid tendencies. :)
The fact that the address was previously owned means that you had used this email address to register the first time... why would someone who unsubscribed not have the right to change their mind and re-register? A mystery....
Not being able to reuse a username that has already been used is normal, however.
I was going to suggest contacting one of the site's moderators to explain your situation, but I realized while looking for an email to provide you that you can't contact anyone if you're not registered, which is just absurd. :)
The filter is probably acting on your IP address; in that case, I recommend turning off your modem and waiting 5 minutes before turning it back on. It should take a new IP address...
Then you create a new email address and set up an account with a new username, and it should work.
Another option is to send a written letter to the address of the company that takes care of this site, the address is here:

try another event site like dailyfriends.com at least you won’t have events deleted for no reason and you can set the number of participants for the event you want.
