Hello,
I just acquired a SENNHEISER RS 120 wireless headset to allow me to listen to the TV without disturbing my family at night, but unfortunately, I'm experiencing a transmission problem.
It worked well for some time, but then (around midnight or one o'clock) it started making a "pssssshhhh" noise for no reason. Despite several attempts to change the frequency, it didn’t help.
I made a new attempt the next day during the daytime to test if there was a problem with the headset, and for 4 hours (I was moving around the house and not sitting in my chair), there was no sound issue.
The next evening, I tried the experience again, and once more, after a certain time (around half past midnight), there was no sound, but a deafening "psssshhh" in my ears. The green light on the headset base (which indicates transfer) goes out, and I have to disconnect the base and reconnect it for the headset to work again, but unfortunately, only for a few minutes.
I read that there might be an automatic standby mode.
Could someone help me solve this problem?
Thank you in advance for your help.

Hello
User of a Sennheiser headset of the same model but on another TV, I noticed that this headset requires a certain sound level not to cut off (the SHHH). There is on my TV a mini jack stereo headphone input whose volume level is adjusted in the MENU/SOUND/HEADPHONES separately from the speaker volume level of the TV (thankfully). The INPUT LEVEL indicator on the base actually blinks if the sound level intended for the headset is too low or too high.
If that can help you?
Cheers

Thank you for this advice. I almost threw it away. I'm so happy...

Same headset but no mini jack stereo socket on my Samsung TV and same problem as Fiso, is there another solution? Thank you very much.

Hello, I have the same problem with my Sennheiser RS120. I think the manufacturer should respond to us with a solution to resolve our issue. Besides that, I was very happy with the whole set.

Thank you also for the response, I almost "threw" my headset too: in summary, therefore, on the TV, you need to set the headphone output sound loud enough and the problem is solved. The volume adjustment on the headset itself is independent of this operation.
