Hello,
Last night, I wanted to turn on my computer running XP that I had just shut down. Everything starts normally until the blue screen appears with "Windows is starting up."
From there, nothing happens, I've waited but nothing changes, this blue screen remains.
Is it serious and what should I do??!
PLEASE HELP ME!

Good evening,
try restarting your PC in safe mode with networking support:
• to restart in safe mode:
Restart the computer by tapping the F8 key several times until a menu appears (white on black background).
Don't worry if the colors and icons are not as usual
In this menu, use the arrow keys to highlight the line Start in Safe Mode.
Choose the operating system to boot.
Select your usual account to log in.
When you see the warning saying that the computer has started in safe mode, click on Continue.
Note: On some computers, the F8 key does not work. In this case, use the F5 or F12 key (US computer).
/!\ Never start in safe mode via MSCONFIG /!\

when you're done restarting it, let me know for the next step
