To know the owner of a mobile phone

Hello,
I am receiving malicious SMS messages from a prepaid Virgin card that has not sent its details to Virgin and is therefore unknown. A complaint has been filed with the public prosecutor.
Is it possible to trace the owner of the mobile (IMEI number) through the SMS sent, and is this IMEI number sent with each SMS???
Thank you for your help ...
Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 7.0

Thank you!!! We'll wait for the end of the investigation if it takes place. Have a good day.

I don't know! But even if that were the case, it wouldn't allow us to know who the owner is (since it's not registered!). In principle, unregistered cards are deactivated after a certain period of time (15 days I believe!) by the operator.

If the malicious person wants to continue acting, they will have to buy a new SIM card!

As long as the person has not been registered, we cannot know who the owner is! We can know where the phone is, but we cannot know who has it in hand! Impossible!
