Hello, have you checked in your BIOS if the boot options are correct?

The problem still lies between the chair and the keyboard.

Non but well I haven't touched it so I don't see why it wouldn't be good anymore. What should the boot options be?

Boot options may have changed when installing software (such as this Nero boot loader).
To access the BIOS, it depends on the PC; at startup, before the beep of the machine, you need to press F8, F6, or Delete if I remember correctly. Then you will arrive at a blue menu where you will have the boot options and check if the first is indeed the primary hard drive (where the OS is installed).

In the BIOS, I set the hard drive as the first boot option, and then when starting up, I get a message saying that there is a missing file: root\windows>\system32\hall.dll.

If your boot disk doesn't work, try this, it might help you get back to Windows.

A multiboot is when you have 2 operating systems installed on the machine, for example Vista and Seven.

Yes, I have Vista and XP on different hard drives, but I tried unplugging one hard drive and it does the same thing.
