Double circumflex accent ^^ and diaeresis ¨¨¨¨

Hello everyone,

I have a problem that appeared on my computer some time ago: when I press the caret key, I get ^^. The same goes for the diaeresis ¨¨.
Another symptom: I no longer have a tilde character (AltGr+2).
The problem is not systematic: it doesn't always appear at startup, but once it does, it never disappears.
Finally, this problem only appears on one account, which rules out any hardware issues (keyboard, etc...)

I searched online: no viruses detected, including bugbear or others detected by the resident antivirus (Avast) or online (Panda)
I ran a HijackThis scan: no significant results.
I followed the procedure indicated in several posts with SDFIX: no results either.

I'm out of ideas...

    Sorry to contradict you, but I confirm that I HAVE a problem.
    I'm not the only one, by the way, given the number of different posts on the subject.
    Let me explain: I press ^ 1 TIME and I get ^^.
    For example ê, it gives ^^e
    etc...
    and the tilde is no longer there.

    I've been stuck on this problem for several weeks now...
